Donation trailers are also on site to collect houseware goods, clothing, and toys. Items accepted at these events include electronic waste, up to 10 tires, document recycling, cardboard, phone books, and newspapers, bulky items and refuse (no air conditioning units, refrigerators/freezers, or large appliances), and latex paint. The City of Toledo offers several drop off events to promote cleaner neighborhoods. No alley pickup and no side street pickup. Bulk items must be placed at curb in front of home. ![]() Wood/branches must be bundled and tied no larger than 3’ by 4’ and not heavier than 40 pounds per bundle nails/screws must be pounded down or removed. Items will be collected one business day following your regular waste collection (example: waste collection day is Wednesday = bulk day is Thursday).Īll loose waste must be bagged. Only certain types of materials may be placed inside your blue recycling container and all items should be clean and free of food remnants before placing in the bin.
